The Dzhebel Municipal Council has finalized the entry fees for the city’s soon-to-open indoor thermal swimming pool.
Under the approved fee structure, adults will pay €6.50 per hour, while children under 14 will be charged €3.50. Children must be accompanied by an adult, as solo access is not permitted.
The facility will operate six days a week throughout the year. Students will have free access during physical education classes. Monthly subscription cards will also be available: adults can purchase 10-hour (€50), 15-hour (€75), or 20-hour (€100) packages, while children’s cards are priced at €30, €45, and €60, respectively.
The council calculated the pool’s hourly operating cost at €7.54, with the municipality subsidizing the difference. Mayor Necmi Ali emphasized,
“Our objective is not to generate profit but to provide a public service and ensure the pool is financially sustainable.”
The pool will be staffed with three lifeguards and maintenance personnel. To reduce energy costs, a solar power system will be installed on the roof, with funding already secured, and the system is expected to be operational next year.
Mayor Ali also highlighted plans to strengthen cooperation with local schools, establish a Dzhebel swimming club, and organize special summer programs for children.
